Herbst Kinsky advised Neovia Logistics Holdings Ltd on the acquisition of two companies of the Styrian Temmel Logistik Group (TLC). Further details of the transaction were not disclosed.

TLC provides logistics and warehouse management services, including additional services such as assembly, rework, order picking, quality control and cross-docking for the procurement processes of automotive manufacturers. The background of the transaction is Neovia Group’s entry into the Austrian market and the addition of sophisticated inbound logistics capabilities to its offering.

Neovia Logistics, based in the US, is a global leader in third-party logistics (3PL) with over 100 locations in more than 20 countries worldwide.

Following the granting of the clearance certificate by the Federal Ministry Republic Austria Digital and Economic Affairs in accordance with the Foreign Investment Act (into force since October 2020) and approval by the Federal Competition Authority, the closing of the transaction took place in January 2021.
