Herbst Kinsky advised the British VC Molten Ventures as lead investor in the USD 25 million Series B financing round of MOSTLY AI. Other investors included Earlybird and 42CAP, as well as neo investor Citi Ventures.

MOSTLY AI was founded in Austria in 2017 with the goal of revolutionizing the way businesses think about and work with data. The company uses artificial intelligence to create synthetic datasets that look as real as a company’s original customer data, reflecting behaviors and patterns with up to 99% accuracy to extract insights from data without using the original data points. In this way, MOSTLY AI enables companies to comply with data protection regulations such as GDPR and use sensitive data in cloud environments.

Molten Ventures is a venture capital firm with offices in London, Cambridge and Dublin that invests in high-growth technology companies with global ambitions. They are listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

“With Molten Ventures, another prestigious investor joins MOSTLY AI. Thanks to the excellent teamwork with the team of Molten and all other players, this transaction could be successfully implemented in a very short period of time”, says Philipp Kinsky, partner at Herbst Kinsky Attorneys at Law.

Herbst Kinsky’s team was led by Philipp Kinsky with support from Philipp Herold, Angelika Kurz (all Corporate/VC), Anna Minihold (IP, IT, Life Science) and Christoph Ludvik (Employment Law). The company was legally represented by Brandl Talos (Roman Rericha) in this transaction. Earlybird and 42CAP by YPOG (Frederik Gärtner).
