Herbst Kinsky has advised the Viessmann Group on the acquisition of a minority stake in aqo-tec GmbH.

The family-owned company Viessmann was founded in 1917 as a heating technology manufacturer and is today a leading global provider of sustainable climate (heating, cooling, water and air quality) and renewable energy solutions.

aqotec GmbH, based in Weißkirchen im Attergau and active in over 15 countries worldwide, is a leading full-service provider in the field of local and district heating technology, promoting the vision of a regenerative heat supply with its products and services. The company’s range of services covers all solutions from planning to installation and servicing of local heating networks.

The strategic cooperation between the Viessmann Group and aqotec is intended to promote dynamic growth in the future market of local and district heating and to strengthen their market position.
