Herbst Kinsky again advised Lifetree Asset Management GmbH (froots) in the course of its second financing round, in which, in addition to existing investors Georg Kapsch, Andreas Treichl, Gina Goess, and Reinhold Baudisch, ex-ski jumper Gregor Schlierenzauer and Ronald Holzmann (former branch manager of FFB – Fidelity Fondsbank) joined as new investors.

After the first financing round last year (EUR 2.5 mio), the up-and-coming fintech now received over one million euros in the second round. The fresh capital is intended to contribute to the continuation of the successful growth course and enable investments in the company’s own platform.

The fintech froots was founded in Vienna in 2021 and makes customised investing accessible to everyone. It enables clients to invest professionally in the capital markets at a fraction of the usual cost.

“Herbst Kinsky’s exceptional professionalism and sense of responsibility paved the way for our successful funding round, and set us on the right track to continue democratising the financial sector,” said David Mayer-Heinisch, founder and CEO froots.

Froots was advised on this transaction by partner Philipp Kinsky and attorney Christina Bernhart.
