Herbst Kinsky advised markta GmbH, Austria’s first digital farmers’ market, in the course of its financing round with renowned investors such as Biogena founder and owner Albert Schmidbauer, co-founder of karriere.at Klaus Hofbauer, Heinz Senger-Weiss from the transport and logistics company Gebrüder Weiss, Daniel Marwan, founder & CEO of the recruiting company epunkt and Jutta Moll-Marwan, who has many years of experience in regional development. The volume of the round is in the seven-digit range.

Founded in 2018, the start-up markta.at operates Austria’s first digital farmers’ market for now more than 3,000 regional food, beverage and drug products from over 450 producers via its online platform.
