Herbst Kinsky advised HELIOVIS AG throughout its Series C financing round with prominent foreign investors.

HELIOVIS AG is a young technology company focusing on renewable energy located in Wiener Neudorf, Lower Austria. HELIOVIS is developing a new sunlight concentrator for large solar power plants, which consists mostly of plastics. This enables a cost reduction of up to 55% for solar fields in comparison to modern glass mirror technologies. Recently the company has received a significant public funding for a demonstration plant in Spain in the highly competitive EU-programme “Horizon 2020″.

“Building a globally orientated technology company is impossible without globally orientated and entrepreneurially thinking attorneys. We have found both of these qualities in Herbst Kinsky and feel outstandingly advised” – so Dr. Felix Tiefenbacher, co-founder and CEO of HELIOVIS AG.

Herbst Kinsky has been accompanying this future orientated company since the start and was always convinced of the idea and professionalism of the HELIOVIS team. Due to this we are especially pleased with the successful Series C financing round, which would not have happened without the immense effort of CEO Felix Tiefenbacher and CFO Wolfram Krendlesberger, who functioned with great endurance within a challenging environment.

The transaction was led by Florian Steinhart and Philipp Kinsky. Another member of the Herbst Kinsky team was David Pachernegg.
