Herbst Kinsky advised the Viennese start up GoStudent GmbH in course of its series A financing round (EUR 8.3 mio).

The renowned VC fund Left Lane Capital (US) was the lead investor of the round. In addition to several existing investors, DN Capital (UK) as the Swoodoo and HomeToGo founders (with their investment vehicle) also participated.

The in 2016 founded GoStudent start up developed a novel learning platform for students, through which online tutoring can be accessed. The tutoring is held live in a virtual classroom and is booked in a subscription package. In the last twelve months, the startup has recorded a monthly growth rate of 30 percent. Currently, about 55,000 units of paid tuition are held each month by 1,100 active tutors.
