Herbst Kinsky advises edtech unicorn GoStudent on acquisition of SchoolFox
Following the EUR 205 million Series C financing round, Herbst Kinsky has now also advised GoStudent GmbH on the successful 100% acquisition of FoxEducation Services GmbH. FoxEduction operates the SchoolFox app, which enables teachers to communicate quickly and easily with parents and students. With this acquisition, GoStudent is expanding its range of services to include a communication platform and is thus also driving forward its own scaling. In recent months, GoStudent has expanded its team to more than 500 employees and opened offices in Canada, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Colombia, among other countries. GoStudent is now active in over 21 countries, with over 420,000 tutoring hours booked monthly.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction volume.
