Herbst Kinsky advised the Canadian Valsoft Corporation Inc., based in Montreal, Quebec, on the acquisition of assets of Seekda GmbH, based in Vienna, by way of an asset deal. The parties have agreed not to disclose the volume of the transaction.

2015 in Canada founded Valsoft has today more than 20,000 employees in over 20 countries. Valsoft acquires and develops software companies for vertical markets, enabling each company to deliver the best solutions to customers in their respective industry or niche.

Seekda GmbH is a provider of digital services in the tourism sector and in particular has hospitality management software and develops/provides solutions for the tourism industry, including a web-based interface, a channel manager and a multi-property booking engine.
