erbst Kinsky advised the shareholders of the Linz-based mobility startup Carployee GmbH in the course of the sale of all shares in the company to the US-based Right-Click Solutions, Inc. (RideAmigos Corp) based in Santa Monica, California. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Founded in 2018, the startup Carployee develops software for carpooling in companies with the aim of reducing companies’ CO2 emissions by letting employees carpool as efficiently as possible. Its customers include Rosenbauer, LKW Walter, Stihl, Mercedes Benz Poland and the Swiss AMAG.

With the acquisition of Carployee, RideAmigos is establishing itself on the European market for the first time, while the team in Linz will remain. The common goal is to optimize commuter flows through artificial intelligence and behavioral research.

“The Herbst Kinsky team provided us with perfect support throughout the exit. It’s good to know you have advisors who really know what they are talking about. Advice at the highest level,” says Albert Vogl-Bader, Managing Director of Carployee.

The transaction was led by Philipp Kinsky and Carl Walderdorff with support from Carmen Walser
