Herbst Kinsky advised IPS, a group of companies previously active mainly in Germany, on the establishment of its Austrian subsidiary, IPS International Project & Safety Consulting GmbH, and the setting up of a safety-engineering centre located in Perchtoldsdorf, Lower Austria. IPS advises well-known industrial companies including OMV, Gas Connect Austria and Infineon in the areas of occupational safety, health and environmental protection, supports their projects and also provides training and further education for its clients’ personnel in these areas.

Wolfgang Rainer, Co-Founder of the IPS Group: “The location of our Safety Engineering Center south of Vienna in close proximity to our customers forms an ideal strategic hub for the IPS Group. We would like to sincerely thank the Herbst Kinsky team for their commitment as well as the professional and efficient handling of this project, which is so important for us.”

With its new location in Austria, IPS is shaking up the Austrian market in the above-mentioned areas and at the same time making a valuable contribution to increased occupational safety and health protection in Austria.

The Herbst Kinsky team was led by partner Wolfgang Schwackhöfer (Corporate) with support from attorney Valerie Mayer and associate Elisabeth Fitzek (both Regulatory).
