Herbst Kinsky advised the shareholders of metior Industrieanlagen Planungs- und Beratungs-Gesellschaft m.b.H. on the sale of 100% in shares of the company to VTU Engineering GmbH. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

metior, headquartered in Graz, Austria, specializes in the planning and installation of electrotechnical and I&C equipment, including process-integrated IT solutions required for the process control of production plants.

Founded in 1990, the VTU Group plans plants for the process industry, in particular for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, metallurgical, oil and gas industries and today has 20 locations in Europe (Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Romania and Poland).
