Herbst Kinsky advises Forest Mapping Management GmbH – part of the LIECO/Liechtenstein Group – on the acquisition of treeva GmbH.

Founded in 2019 as a corporate start-up of STIHL Ventures, treeva GmbH develops and distributes digitalisation solutions for the forestry industry. With treeva, for example, foresters and forestry workers can precisely locate trees. The main product, FOVEA, offers an innovative complete solution for digital timber inventories. With the “iFOVEA Pro” app, wood piles of any size can be recorded in just a few minutes using the latest image processing technologies. With the acquisition, FMM is expanding its expertise in the areas of forestry and software development and, with FOVEA, is gaining a product that can be optimally integrated into its future product landscape and platform.
