Herbst Kinsky advises Ventech S.A.S., Paris, as lead investor alongside KOMPAS VC in the course of the Series A financing round of Prewave GmbH. Other investors included aws Gründerfonds, Speedinvest, IST CUBE, Segnalita Ventures, seed + speed Ventures and working Capital.

The Austrian startup Prewave – founded in 2017 by Dr Lisa Smith, former researcher at the Vienna University of Technology, and Harald Nitschinger – develops solutions in the field of predictive risk intelligence for supply chain management and sustainability.

Ventech is a pioneer in the field of venture capital for early-stage technology companies and startups in Europe. Since its foundation in 1998, Ventech has raised over EUR 900 miollion and made more than 200 investments (including Vestiaire Collective, Passion.io, Ogury, Picanova, Veo, Reveal, Speexx) and over 80 exits.
