Herbst Kinsky advises ams AG as local counsel on the issuance of the current bond
Together with Linklaters – Germany Herbst Kinsky advises his longstanding client ams AG as local counsel in connection with the issuance of a Senior Note in the amount of EUR 650 million and USD 400 million to finance the current acquisition of the lighting manufacturer OSRAM Licht AG.
ams AG, headquartered in Premstätten near Graz, Austria, is listed on the SIX Swiss Stock Exchange and has its main research and development centres in Austria and the USA as well as 20 other design locations worldwide. ams AG employs over 9,000 people and has its own sales offices in all major regions of the world. The group turnover in 2019 was EUR 2.08 billion.
Herbst Kinsky´s team was led by Philipp Baubin (Corporate/Capital Market) and Phillip Dubsky (Corporate/Capital Market) with the support of Rosa Rünzler (Corporate/Capital Market). The Linklaters, London and Linklaters, Frankfurt teams were led by Alexander Naidenov and Stephan Oppenhoff. Schellenberg Wittmer was responsible for Swiss law.
