Herbst Kinsky advised management and NordLB on the acquisition of Gantner through Ardian
Herbst Kinsky advised the management of Gantner Holding in connection with the acquisition of Gantner through the private equity investor Ardian and together with Clifford Chance Munich and Frankfurt NordLB on the acquisition financing of this private equity transaction.
The Vorarlberger company Gantner is the leading international manufacturer of contactless NFC access control, electronic locking and cashless payment applications for the global leisure industry. Gantner is active in over 70 countries and has subsidiaries in Germany, the United Kingdom, Dubai and Australia. The continuously growing company currently has a staff of approx. 200, 130 being based at the headquarters in Schruns.
Ardian was founded in 1996 and led by Dominique Senequier, is an independent private investment company with assets of USD 55 bn managed or advised in Europe, North America and Asia. Its current portfolio comprises 130 businesses.
